Swiss Ocean Tech is a start-up who develops, manufactures and sells the world’s first intelligent anchor monitoring system for ships, yachts and boats under the AnchorGuardian trademark.
AnchorGuardian is sensor fusion with high-tech components from mechanics, electronics and software.
We are looking for an experienced algorithm specialist to further develop the heart of our AnchorGuardian solution, the algorithm based navigation.
In this role, you are part of the research & development team.
Tasks
Developing and optimizing our proprietary ZUPT algorithm in close collaboration with our senior algorithm expert.
We are pushing technological boundries with this cutting edge solution, the hear of our product – AnchorGuardian.
Profile
We are looking for a highly qualified team member of our start-up who enjoys the flexibility and empowerment a start-up can offer and working with a highly motivated team. The person will together with the senior algorithm expert drive the development of the algorithm. This position is key to our success.
The employment is at our offices in Switzerland, close to Zürich or on a remote basis.
Qualification
- MSc or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering / mechatronics / technical cybernetics / electrical engineering / computer sciences.
- Knowledge in the field of digital systems for measurement and control
- Knowledge in inertial sensor technology
- Knowledge in sensor fusion
- Experience in programming with Python, Matlab and C
- Minimum 2 years of working experience is preferable
- Good spoken and written command of the English and / or German language
- Full-time
