Bremgarten, Switzerland: Swiss Ocean Tech, the Swiss start-up bringing safety to anchoring, is pleased to announce the successful completion of its latest financing round, raising a total of CHF3.74 million in equity financing. Swiss Ocean Tech will use the funds to ramp up the company’s operational scale as AnchorGuardian goes into series production.
Swiss Ocean Tech has successfully closed its latest financing round, raising a total of CHF3’736’013 in equity financing. The round includes a combination of newly secured capital from angel investors and the conversion of existing Convertible Loan Agreements (CLAs) into shares. Specifically, the round brought in CHF1.20m in new cash investment, with an additional CHF2.54m resulting from the conversion of previously issued CLAs, reflecting strong investor confidence in the company’s growth and long-term vision.
For Swiss Ocean Tech’s Founder Thomas Frizlen, the financing round reflects the continued trust and enthusiasm felt by the investors. “We are proud to have both new and existing investors showing their confidence in our mission to enhance anchoring safety and sustainability at sea through our flagship solution, AnchorGuardian.”
Frizlen added, “The focus of our efforts is safe anchoring. For that to succeed, the process has to become simpler.
