About Swiss Ocean Tech Ltd.

Swiss Ocean Tech Ltd. is a start-up incorporated in 2020 to create and market AnchorGuardian, the very first worldwide solution that monitors the position and absolute movements of a ship’s anchor. We have formed a multidisciplinary team of 8 seasoned professionals, highly experienced in product development, sensor technology, electrical engineering, development of embedded systems and algorithms, as well as in product release, export sales, supply chain management and communications.

Our mission is to keep crew and passengers safe, prevent damage to vessels, and minimize the environmental impact while anchoring. Put simply: Safe Anchoring – for sailor, ship and sea.

Home of AnchorGuardian, a cutting-edge and patented technology which offers a complete range of intelligent data throughout the anchoring procedure and immediately recognizes anchor drag, thus minimizing the risk of groundings, collisions and environmental damage.   

AnchorGuardian is set to go into production in 2023. 

In 2022, Swiss Ocean Tech was nominated as a finalist in the Oceans Awards, held in partnership with BOAT International and the Blue Marine Foundation, celebrating the achievements of individuals, groups and organisations from around the world dedicated to restoring the health of our oceans. In the spring of 2020, Swiss Ocean Tech won the silver award in Switzerland’s leading start-up competition with venture.ch.
